Description
Stinson 77, “Traditional Love Songs” with Robin Roberts, from the mid-1950s. Vinyl is in the original rice paper sleeve and plays at VG++ or better, which is rare for an original Stinson LP. There are occasional ticks, but most of the record is noise-free. Jacket has wear along spine and for about 1” (2 cm) on bottom at opening; there is a bend line on the upper left corner (see scan). There are no liner notes, and I do not know if the original contained them; this version of the cover is a textured blank pale green on the back and is somewhat age-toned. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
