Up for auction is this Robyn Hitchcock 8-vinyl album box set, "I Wanna Go Backwards." The titles of the records are listed below. It includes a poster that was hand signed by Robyn Hitchcock. I bought this set new and just never got around to playing it. I listened to "I Often Dream of Trains" once and that was it, so all of the records are in EX to NM condition. The box itself has a couple of scuffs on it from storage. Most of the jackets are EX except for two: "While Thatcher Mauled Britain" volumes 4 and 5, because they incurred small seam splits when they were shipped to me. These are pictured in the photos.
How this will be shipped: For practical reasons, the records must be shipped in their jackets inside the box. However, I have inserted the records in secondary paper sleeves which, along with the printed inner sleeves, have been inserted into the jackets with the edge facing out so that, if the record moves, it should not cause a seam split. I have then bundled the jackets with plastic wrap to prevent them from moving, and inserted all into the box. This added enough extra bulk so that I am quite confident the records will not move in shipping. All this is to say that I have done my best to protect the items during shipping.
