Description
From my personal collection which I've decided need to go to other homes as I no longer have a record deck. This LP was purchased by me when new soon after release. Note also that I nearly always kept my albums in an outer plastic protective cover so it's well looked after. This particular album is in really good condition - see pics which I hope show that this is the case.
Apart from a little bit of light wear on the corners the album cover is in lovely condition, the front & rear cover and the great photo of the band inside the gatefold - all unmarked so VG+ & possibly even EX condition. The spine is also in very good condition.
The EMI inner sleeve is structurally sound with no tears so VG+. There is a rip along one side edge and the smallest beginnings of a rip on the bottom edge from the weight of the vinyl over the years. It also has some staining on both sides.
The insert of the Sgt Pepper cut-outs is Mint.
The vinyl itself has some general very light scuffs plus one or two light scratches which is to be expected for an album that has been used and is nearly 60 years old. Overall I'd grade as VG+.
Matrix vinyl markings are Side 1: YEX 637 - 1 & Side 2: YEX 638 - 1
