Description
How do you like your rockabilly? Maybe jivin’? Boogey-oogie?
Here’s one for you on the King label from 1956!
Vinyl has been ultra sonically cleaned, sleeved (inner/outer), and fully play tested.
Ships securely. I use appropriate shipping materials. No odd packaging. Old album covers and/or cardboard stiffeners will be used. Fast turn around shipping-same day or the next-if not during the weekend/holiday.
See my feedback and buy with confidence.
Vinyl: Strong VG (decent gloss, some marking on the intro dead-wax all around-probably what causes the crackle at stylus drop but otherwise fairly clean with a couple of light, non-textured marks.
“Seventeen” Side: Pretty much VG+
Crackle at stylus drop-a little crackle 1-2 places elsewhere which was short, light. No pops/ticks.
“Oo-oo-oo” Side: VG
Crackle at stylus drop-mellows out fast and is a bit constant in the 1st song but in the background. Believe a couple of light pops were present in 1st song here too-but way light. Second song plays a bit stronger but near the end were some moderate pops. I took a picture of what caused the pops. Even after a second ultra sonic cleaning I still could not remove it. Maybe you could?
No skips or warps on either side!
Picture sleeve: F (here’s the deal—-it exists!!! As you may or may not know picture sleeves from this era are nearly non-existent. This one is completely split in two. Some scuffing and other minor wear. Back has discoloration. Thus the grade but again it’s here!)
Labels are pretty good. One looks like it had an old sticker on it do there’s leftover residue.
Vinyl is housed in a paper sleeve.
I welcome questions. Thanks for looking!
