~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this original Ultra Rare Canadian Garage Surf Beat 45 by The Rockatones entitled " Shandia" b/w "Young In Years" on Fontaine Records F- 1575X, original CDN Pressing from 1963, distributed exclusively through Quality Records Of Canada.
Incredibly RARE original Canadian private First Edition pressing 45 that saw a very limited pressing and distribution run of this particular release ( 1st 45 release) from this fabulous Moncton Canada Surf Band. Estimated pressing run is less than 100 copies.
It was subsequently released ( exceptionally rare ) on the standard red and white Quality label.
You won't find it listed in your record guides!...and amazingly enough, believe it or not, they also released an Lp, privately, on this same Fontaine label...which you can't find!
This is one of the toughest Canadian Garage Surf Beat 45's to locate anywhere, in any condition!, featuring an echoed like surf beat "A" side that offers some really cool instrumental electric guitar garage beat riffs!
A real gem for the truest electric guitar fan...bet you can't copy these strokes on your guitar!
Both labels are exceptionally clean and virtually near mint!
The vinyl is totally outstanding with only 2 or 3 very light needle marks.
And amazingly included is the original First Edition Quality sleeve!
