"THE MAN" (aka Larry Whitehurst of The Rocky Horror Show)
"Hey You! (Get Out Of My Bed)"  b/w  "TOMCAT"

UK 1979 Safari Records, cat # SAFE16,  7"single 45 RPM, 

In early 1979, during the record-breaking original London cast production of The Rocky Horror Show, at The Kings Road Theatre,  Larry Whitehurst who was playing the role of Frank-N-Furter at the time, wrote and recorded a novelty pop single (along with other cast members  and the live band from Rocky Horror which included Nick Straker).  The result is a funky 70s track and definitely 'one from the vaults'
Both vinyl and sleeve are in VG condition (with just a few light scuffs on the vinyl, but plays perfectly).  NOTE: The cover artwork features one of the very few photos ever seen of Larry in character as Frank from his days in the show.  This is quite an unusual Rocky Horror related audio item, and is of particular interest to Rocky Horror audio/vinyl collectors, and pop music fans in general.
