Purchased by a friends Aunt back in the late 1970`s early 80`s, she`s not too sure... at a South Woodford Church community hall to raise funds for Redbridge Gingerbread single parent charity...a charity very close to Rods heart...so much so that in the Faces heyday, he. the two Ronnie`s, Kenny and "Mac" took time off their rigorous tour schedules, and at their own record companies expense, they single purposely strived to help and nurture the potential young single female parents of the World, no man as done more in this field....and he being just up the road from South Woodford (Redbridge)..in Epping,he was more than happy to help with this local worthy cause....What`d a Guy !!
100% genuine....not some thick indistinguishable, barely legible magic marker scrawl....but clear, neat blue biro....bearing the legend 
"Best Wishes....to Redbridge Gingerbread...Rod Stewart"

Original 1971 issue black Mercury label with the matrix numbers...

Vinyl is very clean showing just one light hairline to to track two Side 1 and Side 2 as a small press run blemish to track ..."(I know) I`m losing you"....though these are non feel-able hence no sound degradation....plays superb....
Sleeve is very clean having no shelf rub or other issues....a nice item celebrating a true English working class hero...
