Description
My name is Jess Miller and I went to Stowe School, Buckingham, England in the 1960’s.
There I met and was in school bands with Roger Hodgson, who became a good friend.
Roger later became the mainstay of Supertramp.
In 1966 we were in a band together called the Dream Merchants.
We made a 4 track E.P. (Extended Play) vinyl record in one of the classrooms.
The tracks were:
The Kids Are Alright (The Who)
I’m On an Island (The Kinks)
Wash My Hands in Muddy Water (Elvis Presley)
Jeff’s Boogie Instrumental (Jeff Beck & The Yardbirds)
They were each recorded through one microphone in one take.
Roger sings I’m On an Island and the harmonies on the Kids Are Alright and Washed My Hands in Muddy Water.
Band members were Richard Stormont, Roger Hodgson, John Greenstreet and Jess Miller
The record is in excellent condition as you can see from the images and will be supplied with a signed letter from me confirming the above.
