Rolling Stone Some Girls Uncensored Orange Vinyl Netherlands Press NM
Jacket is a die-cut uncensored Netherlands 1978 first press, very clean, shows only very minor shelf wear around the edges. Pictured insert is as new. Vinyl is high gloss, no scuffs, scratches, spindle marks, little to no evidence of play. This is a bright color version, others were printed with pale color jackets, this is the more desirable version. If you check below, you'll see this is a type 1 version, meaning Green-Yellow-Blue-Red (bright colours). I've included all Discogs info below to fully document this version of the album. Great piece to frame, play tested, is also a great sounding copy.

The cover of the original album was a die cut with peep-holes so you could see the faces of members of Rolling Stones and female celebrities pictured on the innersleeve. Shortly after release the cover was withdrawn due to legal issues and a new designed innersleeve without the celebrity faces was launched. Even later releases were made without peep-holes and with hand-drawn sketches on the cover.
At least there are 15 known variations of cover/innersleeve so beware to list your LP correctly.

Even if catalogue # and country match your album there are other parameters to consider:
c) Is your innersleeve uncensored? (with celebrity faces)
d) Or is the innersleeve censored? ('Pardon our appearance.... under construction')
e) Or is the LP without peep-holes?
The uncensored and censored versions were released with different variations of the colour-band on the cover.
1) Green-Yellow-Blue-Red (bright colours)
2) Yellow-Blue-Red-Green (bright colours)
3) Blue-Red-Green-Yellow (bright colours)
4) Red- Green-Yellow-Blue (bright colours)
5) Yellowish-Bluish-Reddish-Greenish (pale colours) ('Some Girls' title typed in red)
6) Reddish-Greenish-Yellowish-Bluish (pale colours) ('Some Girls' title typed in blue)
Some later releases were made without peep-holes.

This release is for the 1978 Netherlands orange vinyl with brighter colours on the sleeve (the colours should be ordered green, yellow, blue, red from top to bottom).
There is another 1978 Netherlands orange vinyl release (The Rolling Stones - Some Girls) with pale colours on the sleeve (as also on various other releases of this album), in the order of red, green, yellow, blue from top to bottom.

Yes, they charge me for their right to collect your State sale tax. Windup is the minimum cost for me to put an album out the door is $6. I have a ton of records I could sell for under $10, it's just not worth the time & effort.
