DESCRIPTION: This auction is for 5 ORIGINAL UK 1960s DECCA UNBOXED STONES LPS. In mint condition these 5 would cost you over £1000. In this condition they could be yours for less than £10. All are very early Original Uk pressings in original covers , mostly with original inners as well. Ive added the matrix numbers after the title. Rolling Stones 1st/ST- 1A/3A. Cover has writing to rear and a tear to front/ Rolling Stones No.2- 1A/2A. Flipback sleeve in at least VG condition/ Aftermath- 4A/2B. Writing to rear sleeve/ Between the Buttons- 4A/4A. Name written quite neatly on rear cover and on label/ Through The Past Darkly- STEREO- 1W/2W. Remember these are all DECCA UNBOXED UK ORIGINALS. I am grading all the vinyls as FAIR only. They all play with surface noise and have not been looked after properly. There may well be some skips though in the passages i have listened to there were not. They sit flat on turntable. The music is prominent on the tracks ive listened to but has some ticks and crackle throughout. Quiet passages will have noticable crackle. The covers are as described above. VG at best , generally around Good. Anyway they are what they are original UK Decca unboxed Stones Lps. Im happy to answer any questions re specific LPs!! Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
