Description

Up for grabs here is an extremely rare original pressing of the Stones classic 1966 lp as released by German Decca in Royal sound Stereo!!Cat No is SLK 16415-PNot only that it is in very nice condition, and not trashed as have the few copies i've seen over the years been. This copy is indeed a true first pressing as this is the very lovely deep wine red & gold Decca Label edition (later ones were released as in the UK on Decca boxed label). It has a few marks, but is in nice condition overall & retains it's gloss very well.On playback, there were only a few light ticks (occasionally and mostly in between tracks and the start groove). Indeed, when i tested the lp ( very loudly lol!) on my Dual CS505-3 turntable just now, there was certainly nothing i heard that would spoil the listeners enjoyment whatsoever and it played through very nicely. The original flimsy non laminated sleeve is intact, but has some edge/corner wear and some creasing to the front along the opening edge, but is still presentable. The original inner sleeve advertising German TelDec lp's from 1966 has a piece missing on the front (see photos),but i have included it and reinforced it with a poly liner.I'm sure the winning bidder will not be disappointed, and indeed it is rare to find this record in any condition, never mind as nice as this.As always, any questions are more than welcome.I will post this very nice Stones rarity anywhere worldwide. Thanks for looking in and Happy bidding :)
