GLOSSY LAMINATED ALBUM COVER with a paler purple coloration ! ULTRA RARE R. STACE printed sleeve! Impossible to locate.Normally found on the first stereo releases but NEVER on mono sleeves ! Unbelievable !
FIRST UK Pressing with 3A/6B matrix and KT tax codes on BOTH sides of the vinyl !!! Monster slab, heavyweight, thick cut vinyl !! Comes with a much rarer and different album cover .
Album sleeve
Still R. Stace printed, a first issue sleeve with pinched spinal column, but massively different in texture and appearance ! Hardly any were manufactured in this way. In comparison to the more common sleeve, front face has a much thicker laminate coat and has a paler coloration, almost pinkish in colour. The front face is ultra smooth to the touch and is impossible to locate like this, with a glass like laminated front, as the more common sleeve has a very tight, thin lamination and is a purple colour. This coloration is much paler and the thicker laminate has preserved this album cover, providing a fresh feel/appearance . Truly in remarkable condition. Completely different visually on front face but reverse is the same. Very collectable! Condition is excellent – ,as reverse face has some discoloration/speckled browning, generally through age ,but still retains a very fresh feel. One biro mark but nothing very serious at all. A fine exhibit of an exceptionally rare album sleeve format, and with just a couple of minor creases on front face, a gem for the serious collector .

The odd surface mark/hairline , with an awesome mirror like sheen ! Excellent visual and quite lightly played. Quite hard to locate like this . One invisible light scratch, hard to observe, against the highly polished surfaces!
White inner sleeve with boxed Decca logo text . Poly lined ex condition .

Unboxed red Decca label format. The very first issue of this monumental Stones classic . Has only a very few spindle lines visible. Beautiful examples . Excellent- condition with some rubbing around one central hole . Wide ridged format.

Played this through and a wonderful playing copy . Tremendous depth of sound and the tones remain sharp and clear, rising above any surface disturbance .Extra loud cut engineering heard in sensational style! No skips, nor jumps. For most of play a solid excellent delivery , with some surface between tracks and very occasional during quieter parts of the music . Dips once from excellent just very slightly, as one can hear a few faint ticks through the soft lyrics of one track, but have to listen fairly hard to pick up (S2Tr5) . Probably only a couple of blips on sound and certainly plays mostly excellent . Beautiful playing copy and visually quite a very pleasing example of this monumental Stones classic .
