Description
Hi and welcome to another one of my auctions, In the next week i will be listing around 10-15 RARE LP`s, These will all be listed for 10 days and starting at £3 with NO RESERVE, I have been a member for around 10 years now and pride my self on my feedback, I have not had an unhappy customer yet with over 1000+ items being bought and sold.
I won`t be giving you a 500 word essay on how amazing!!!! or Stunning!!! an item is , What i will do is give an accurate and correct grading with at least 6-8 pictures showing the item from all angles to give you a clear image on how the items quality is and do my best to give the best description of condition that i can, I offer a refund for any item that does not live up to the description i have given, My feedback is very important and i have not had a neutral or negative comment in 10 years since i started out, So please bid with confidence for the rare items that i will be selling this week.
The items i will be listing are from artists such as, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Pretty things, Floyd, Duncan Browne, Fairfield Parlour + more. Items that i will be offering are the rarer items by the above and in a very nice collectable condition as they come from my private collection and have not been offered for sale by me before, I will only be offering genuine 1st pressings many with the rarer mixes in stereo, If there are any questions please contact me prior to bidding, Many Thanks.
I always grade my records to the highest possible standards with either a (+) or (-) for added accuracy, All my records are graded according to the UK RRPG, Customer serivce is always a priority so if for any reason there is a problem with an item i have sold please contact me and any issue it will be dealt with in a swift proffesional manner.
Item for Auction
The Rolling Stones - Aftermath LP (UK Blue Decca SKL 4786) , Super rare LP and hard to find in this condition on an orig 1966 S T E R E O pressing, This version is the 1st Pressing from the UK with the Wide Band/Deep Groove (FFSS)Decca lable and is in fantastic condition. Matrix numbers Side 1 = XZAL-7209-1W Mother/Stampers = G2B UW Side 2 = XZAL-7210-2W Mother/Stampers = 1 BW
Outer Sleeve Condition
The original front laminated `Clarifoil` sleeve is in great condition with NO seam splits , No Tears, NO Rips etc... or damage to mention and the spine is still in great condition, There is a set of initials and a name to the rear of the sleeve(See pics), The front has a few very small creases to the laminate, I have just noticed a small bit of tape to the bottom edge(Might be visable in the pics), The opening edge is in great condition with no wear, Very light ring wear is starting to the top edge but does not distract from the very nice condition of this classic sleeve, Overall a great example of this classic LP, graded a conservative EXCELLENT
Lable Condition
The original Dark Blue Wide Band Deep Groove(Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound) Lable`s are both in at least EXCELLENT condition, with only a few very light spindle marks noticable in strong light and 2 small stickers which may be removable,I am not going to try though, Grading would have been better if not for this.
Stereo paper inner sleeve is EXCELLENT condition with a couple of creases
Vinyl condition
The original 1st press vinyl is in great condition and has a lovely dark, glossy sheen to the surface and has had very little use, There are NO scratches or nasty marks on the vinyl, The LP has been carefully handled over the years, Upon close inspection under bright light i can see on the surface a few very light marks which come from the record being removed from the sleeve but they have no impact on the audio quality, Overall it is in EXCELLENT++ to NEAR MINT condition, A fantastic opportunity to get a top class LP in very very nice condition, Ones like this don`t come up for sale that often.
Audio Condition
I have just played the LP and can confirm that the audio is great, A tiny crackle as the needle hits the vinyl on the start of the run in but then its virtualy silent apart from the music, The sound is what you would expect from a quality 60`s 1st pressing, In between the tracks there is no noise, there are NO reccuring pops, NO clicks, NO Sticks/Jumps etc... just the odd bit of static here and there more than likely due to the lack of play over the last 40 odd years, . Audio grade is as good if not better than the visual one, You would be hard pushed to find a better copy.
