Rolling Stones "Aftermath" LK4786, Unboxed Mono grooved label with the practically impossible to find 1A/1B matrix and 1-1 / 1-11 stampers.
First off some quick guarantees;
1.This lp has not been pressed/skimmed/heated or otherwise messed around with - if you ever wondered why so many "mint" copies of rare lps turn up - 99% have been "sent to the cleaners"
2.The following description is factual, not wishful thinking, and is fully guaranteed if it should fall short of reality.
3. I promise not to bore you with pages of superlatives about how great it is!
This comes with the standard cover, not shadowed or purple tinged. The front cover is pretty clean,spines and edges all intact, some wear to the open edge. The rear cover has one tear of about 3/4 of an inch, running from the open edge inwards, near the bottom. There are some stains, no writing.
Plain white polylined inner sleeve. The label is very clean, with a few light spindle marks.
The vinyl has a few superficial surface marks, nothing deep at all. I've just finished listening to the whole lp, with the treble set at full. The playing condition is pretty consistent throughout. Still bright, no skips,jumps etc. Pressing is absolutely flat. There is some light background at the start of each side and between a few tracks. On a couple of occasions there was the odd pop or tick in quieter moments, but nothing that distracted from what I'd forgotten was such a great album.
So this is not a mint copy, but it's lightly played and still a great sounding copy. If you bid and win, and don't agree with the description, I'll refund you with postage. Clearly grading is subjective, but I've tried to describe it as I've found it. To further clarify condition please take a good look at the photos below.
