Description

One of the holy grails for Stones collectors.>>>
An original 1st PRESS of BB in mono from 1968.. Wow. A great title, period..in stereo really nice. In mono...down right amazing. Note how the tape number is inverted on side 1 without brackets and with TNR font...these are proper 1st pressings..In fact, the side 1 label IS the very earliest layout humanly possible on BB. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover stating Mono on the rear. We have a correct and proper 1968 Decca inner too. So 100% genuine 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Super lustre for genuine 60's. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Great audio with little background. What's not to like? It's a clean player through and through. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. A couple of isolated ticks in one spot. Those fussy acoustic tracks are hard to find really clean. But this copy is acing them. All play absolutely superb - perhaps slight presence in one spot. Overall a cracking performer.  Highly recommended. A landmark release and have no doubt this example will deliver the full gamut on this classic Stones title.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely clean and uncreased front. Many examples can look a little tired or fet aged. I'm pleased to report this copy is very close on white surfaces. Only trace showing of any ageing. Really impressive. Interior is superb cannot fault. The rear exhibits very little wear to be frank... Minimal edge wear and the openings are still sharp. Which is a hard find. The spine is 90% intact - rarely occurs. Almost no creasing against spine edge......   Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity abd remains totalky flat.. A fine example by any measure.
Inner (Ex-) Very nice with little ageing. No splits.
