This wonderful sounding early UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial December 1968 release.

On the unboxed red/silver Decca label: LK.4955


Matrices: XARL-8476-4A & XARL-8477-3A

Stamper codes: 1/BK & 1/B

Vinyl weight: 151g


Housed in an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono gatefold cover & original poly-lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Vinyl: NEAR MINT

This outstanding disc has received just 2/3 careful plays on quality equipment and only 3 small spindle trails are visible around the side 2 centre hole only. Both playing surfaces shine 'as new' with nothing more than a few harmless wispy marks from the inner & a sparkling rainbow shine visible beneath halogen light. There are no scratches, scuffs or any other visual blemishes on either side and both sides are 100% flat on the turntable when playing. Audibly flawless with no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle, ticks or clicks anywhere. 

Cover: EXCELLENT -

Fully intact with a glossy laminate but with some foxing/age spots (mostly on the back) due to long-term storage. Otherwise it bears only minor shelfwear and slight rubbing to the spine, but all the text and both seams are undamaged. The inside of the gatefold is clean & unmarked.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Clean, flat & white with no writing, tears or seam splits.
