Description
On offer here is a Ist Press copy of Big Hits (High Tide And Green Grass) by The Rolling Stones, released in Stereo on the Unboxed Decca label in 1966, catalogue number TXS 101.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition with some slight laminte lift near the spine and three small thumb creases in the laminate, however this is a 50 year old album and really this cover has servived very well indeed.
The rear of the cover is very clean and has the "RED MONO BLUE STEREO" marker holes.
The spine is as new.
The stapled booklet is in Excellent condition and still attached to the sleeve.
The heavyweight vinyl has a glossy shine to both sides with a very few light non penetrating hairlines, rated as Excellent minus.
The Unboxed Green "FFR" Decca labels are in excellent condition with a few light spindle marks.
The original Blue Stereo polylined inner is in Excellent condition with a corner crease.
This first pressing is becoming increasingly rare with the booklet especially in this excellent overall condtion, and will be an appreciating asset to any collection.
The record will be sent outside of it's sleeve in a polythene cover sandwiched between two cardboard inners in a heavy duty record envelope made by Covers 33.
