Description
The Rolling Stones Burning at the Hollywood Palladium Recorded June 9, 1972
A very rare unofficial live recording of the |Rolling Stones on their US Tour of the Americas in 1972, probably their finest tour, the Stones at their peak after the release of Exile on Main Street.
As with all unofficial recordings, sound quality is variable.
LP and cover are in excellent condition. I am including the clear plastic cover that came with the album when I bought it in 1972 or 73 for historical completeness, however, it is has edge tears and holes and is no longer real clear. You can always turf it and replace it with a new plastic cover.
There is a light scuff on Side 2 on Sweet Virginia but I listened to it (played with Shure M85E cartridge thru Hafler amp set at flat and Golden Ear speakers w/ ribbon tweeter) - inaudible to me, hopefully for you too.
Song Titles:
Side 1:
Brown Sugar/ Bitch/ Rocks Off/ Gimme Shelter/ Happy/ Tumbling Dice
Side 2:
Sweet Virginia/ You Can't Always Get What You Want/ All Down the Line/ Midnight Rambler/ Jumpin' Jack Flash
