Description

A 1st issue from the initial charting phase. But not an early 1st pressing. NO mention of Mona on labels -- but the cover does mention 'Mona'. There was reference to Mona, originally, on both labels and cover. This was NEVER the name of the track by Bo Diddley! Decca had to print corrections fairly sharpish. Decca deep groove apparent and recording 1st pub 1964. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with an original inner.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovely and clean throughout.
Cover (Vg+) Given the vintage looking very tidy indeed. Lovely clean and flat front with precious little creasing. The rear has avoided most of the usual ageing process. A couple of tiny 5mm tears at opening - i have tape repairedbeatly.Spine is 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) no splits.
