DESCRIPTION: Rolling stones- Exile On Main Street. Early (1st?) UK pressing with A1/B2/C1/D3 matrix, thick box cover and thick card inners. Machine stamped matrix numbers, etched rolling stones records and little symbol in dead wax. Its is my own copy that ive had for many years. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Rolling stones COC 69100 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+/VG+. Vinyls are both clean with a nice sheen. Played lengthy passages of both discs tonight. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Clear and loud with a very,very ocasional soft tick. Box cover is in much better than usual shape. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. The box itself retains really good shape. No writing,stickers etc etc. Card inners are better than EX with only very light wear and no splits. Vinyls have been kkept in seperate lplain white inners for many years. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Packed this weighs 739gm hence more expensive overseas postage. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. . I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
