The sheer rarity about this album release, is that ALL the etchings/1st pressed factory stamps, are found on the run offs of these two beautiful vinyls. The double matrix is found, plus the inverted V ,only found on the earliest UK pressings AND the “artist palette” machine stamped, which are quite elusive to locate! A fantastic collectors’ item, so do not miss !Rolling Stones Records etched in all run offs-and the 1st double matrix ST-RS-722-507/508/509/510 and A1/B2/C1/D1 respectively .

The ultra scarce POSTCARDS are present,  and are in ONE concertina format ,MINT condition. Very rare to find these cards with the original 1st issue, as many were lost/discarded and even sent to loved ones .The post cards appear clean and in remarkable condition.  The surfaces of the cards, have a soft textured finish, almost a brushed effect, which makes their condition remarkable, as they are very prone to damage, owing to their delicate manufacture! Collectors’ exhibit .

Two record set and vinyls appear in NR MINT condition, under strong light conditions. In beautiful format, with a mirror like sheen and a thick, chunky feel . Stunning visual !On closer inspection against a strong halogen, there seems little evidence of play . If angled 45 degrees, there is a very tiny mark only , located on S1/Tr4 ,which is non audible.  The vinyls do have a distinctive mirror like sheen and retain their original deep gloss! A pleasure to view.  Stunning condition for  39 year old vinyls!

Audio conveys  an exceptional delivery, executing the clearest of tones ,with NO distortion, nor any serious surface disturbances. There are no audible faults at all and possibly one of the best deliveries from this historic Stones’ classic. A sensational aural delivery blessed with soft, delicate tones, a throbbing vibrant bass and a definitive, warm punch of exquisite precision, so rare to find on a huge classic such as this! Opening grooves are clear and tones are well defined, despite dust particles, still lifting from the grooves.These vinyls have lain dormant for many years and should improve ,even more with play .It is the quality of the tones that make this a sensational discovery. The extra loud cut engineering gives the audio a vibrant sound which cannot be surpassed. A delivery which will not disappoint!

Labels Excellent+

Superb strong yellow with pronounced ridged, dimple effect contours coupled against scarlet tongue logos. Superb examples of the genuine Stones label format with only a faint spindle trace visible . Have to angle against a strong light to observe and infers that these records have been lightly played.

Comes complete with original thick, card manufacture , picture inner sleeves. No damage at all visible, and are not discoloured. Remain fresh and clean and on closer inspection, there is a small nick producing a tiny tare, on one opening edge . Seams are undamaged . Excellent+/ex-  condition. No seam splits after internal examination. No creases observed.Very fresh feel and appearance.

Plain white ,die cut inner sleeves with flip backs, patented/made in England blue text in excellent/-  condition. No seam splits . The central holes have a couple of tiny nicks on central edge !  Light creasing only ,where vinyls have rested over the years.

Original, outer gatefold SHOREWOOD PACKAGING printed, made in England text !!! Very fragile with a matt finish and very prone to tears and massive edge wear. This one is in  excellent/+ condition ,with just minor wear/scuffs on the corners/extreme spinal edges. The general shape of the album cover is still solid and square, owing to the placement of two cardboard stiffeners inside the opening/flap, where the vinyls used to be stored. A great idea and has maintained its original shape all those years ago, as the spinal column remains undamaged,solid and square and a delight to view. The wide spine is usually found squashed and disfigured, but this spine displays an exceptional, perfect contour.

Front/reverse faces are excellent and wonderfully maintained . The spine is slightly discoloured with age. There is hardly any edge wear, primarily just visible on lower lateral edge. The general white, of the rear face, has been preserved exceptionally well over the years.  Inner centrefold is excellent+, with no serious damage visible. Very well preserved and a fine example of this fragile gatefold. 38 years old and still retains a solid/pressed feel/appearance. Will be difficult to locate a better example.

This Stones album is sensational and is almost impossible to find in this condition. Beautiful picture card inners, original 1st issue post cards ,still present, an impossible 1st issue gatefold sleeve, in remarkable condition, and the two vinyls, reflecting a deep, glossy sheen, displaying all the etchings /factory stamps of a genuine 1st pressed ,vintage classic. A superb investment on offer here, and certainly not to be missed.
