Rolling Stones - "Exile on Main St", 1972 COC 69100 Musidor N.V. A2,B1,C1,D1
I think this is quite special. Loads of spelling mistakes on Inner Sleeve and Label (Even Keith Richards has been spelled with the s missing) !

Although I collect records, I still think the grading system allows too much latitude and often ends up with buyers feeling let down, so I prefer to use my own, brutally honest descriptions and a load of pictures.
Vinyl Condition:
Record 1, Side One:
Has minor signs of usage, but has a thumb-sized mark (in the place where a clumsy owner would put their thumb when removing the record - on the first track or thereabouts) which I have not been able to remove. The mark looks like it was once thumb grease that has become more permanent as it aged and the acids leached out (but I'm only guessing and hopefully you will have a knack to remove it).
The Runout is marked with the classic Drum & Sticks logo, COC 69100, ST.RS. 722507, A2
Record 1, Side Two:
Has a light scratch that runs across all tracks and several other light marks elsewhere.

Record 2, Side Three:
Signs that it has been played, but otherwise very clean.

Record 2, Side Four:
Some very faint surface scratches and signs of use.

Both albums are stored within a white sleeve, done for protection, non-original.
Inner Sleeves Condition:
Inner picture sleeves are both in nice clean condition with a tiny amount of corner denting and side 3/4 has a shop label in the corner.
Gatefold Exterior Cover Condition:
Exterior is grubby with majority of the picture being worn away on the gatefold seam (See picture). The record compartment's old glue has dried out and needs re-glueing. Overall, the cover is tired looking and does let the side down a bit. Please see pictures.
Gatefold Interior Condition:
Interior is cleaner that the exterior as may be expected, but still kind of worn looking and a bit grubby. It doesn't help that the imagery is that of torn pictures ;-)
The main concern for me would be the seam, which has been weakened with all those years of use and the seem has peeled (See pics). Obviously the designers didn't appreciate that in order to remove the records that gatefold must be flipped completely and didn't reinforce the seam accordingly.
