Overall Description
Here we have an original 1st UK press of the classic Rolling Stones record!!
This is a TRUE 1st press with a Sherwood Packaging Outer Sleeve with the fragile gatefold opening containing the 2 card inner sleeves!!
The records have the lowest Matrix available at A2/B1/C2/D1

Outer Sleeve
The Sherwood Packaging outer sleeve is in sublime condition. There are no rips, writing, tears or stains to mention. In fact the only wear or sign of age is some shelf wear to the corners. The colours are still vibrant and beautiful. The spine is perfectly straight and all text readable!! Excellent +
Inner Sleeve
The thick card inners with full artwork and credits are in near perfect condition, with only the mildest of folding being the only sign of age!! There are no rips, stains or writing at all!! Equally the Inner ‘inner’ sleeves are as new!! Nr Mint
Labels
The first press labels are in stunning condition on both vinyls. There are only faint spindle mars to be seen under a strong halogen bulb, and it is clear to see these records have hardly been played!! There are no rips, rubbing or writing of any sort!! Nr Mint
Vinyl Visual
There is no evidence of warping at all!! A few minor hairlines can be seen under a strong halogen bulb, but I would say these are mainly removal marks. The record still retains its factory shine and lustre as it did over 30 years ago. I think the most action this record has seen is on the shelf Excellent+
Vinyl Audio
The record played through superbly!! There are no jumps or skips. There is no warping at all. My system didn’t pick up a single pop! The dynamics of the band are still crystal clear and separate. There was barely static between tracks. There is no distortion on the heavier parts. Superb! Nr Mint

So there we have it, a superb 1st press example of the stones classic record!!
