Rolling Stones / Gathers No Moss
Japan ONLY 2LP
London L35P 1037 ~ 8
Appendices: “G/F Cover", “5 Page Booklet” & “Red Discs”
( OBI is missing )
Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY double-album ( released in 1982 ) of Rolling Stones, comin' with fine appendices. This double album includes 26 rare tracks of Rolling Stones, most of which were released only as singles, or different & rare takes. So far as I know, this album was issued only in Japan on vinyl. The discs are beautiful in red, issued only for its 1st pressing. The booklet shows “Japanese description”, “English & Japanese lyrics” and “Photo of members”. Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this double album even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: I want to be loved, I wanna be your man, Stoned, Poison ivy, Poison ivy ( the other take ), Bye bye Johnny, Money
Side B: Time is on my side, I can't be satisfied, Fortune teller, Medley: We want the stones ~ Everybody needs somebody to love ~ Pain in my heart, I'm movin' on, Route 66
Side C: She said yeah, Talkin' 'bout you, Look what you've done, The singer not the song, I'm free, Gotta get away, Blue turns to grey
Side D: Sad day, Long long while, Who's driving your plane, We love you, CHild of the moon, Memo from turner
Condition: VG/NM-/NM- ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for lightly worn corners & outer-edges. There’s light ring-wear on the front & back, and upper portion inside gate-fold. Otherwise it has no tear, strip, dent, stain & writing...OK.
DISC1/2: Both discs are nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. Each disc has several tiny spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise each disc has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove of both discs…very clean discs, I guarantee you.
OBI: OBI is missing.
BOOKLET: EX-, being slightly discolored inside pages.
