Description

The Rolling Stones Let It Bleed Hand Signed original vinyl record on London USA . Condition is Used.

The Album Cover is very Good although showing its age on the front cover where the black print on the image of the vinyl record is showing some scuffing. The spine is largely in very good to excellent condition. There is no sign of damp and has been stored carefully for many decades.

The signatures are all very clear. I believe they were obtained at a recording studio in America in the early 70s and came through an elderly neighbour who worked in the music business in 60s 70s and 80s.

The very rare Inner sleeve is in very GOOD to excellent condition and surprisingly crisp. The mauve colour is showing slight signs of age fading.

The VINYL itself I would describe as GOOD but would be very good to excellent if it was not for two very small scratches.
The sound is very sharp and clear even when played loud. But two small 'feelable' scratches effect the sound. The first 4mm one at the beginning of track one side one Gimmie Shelter makes the needle jump a single groove during the intro. It does not get stuck it just skips a single groove. The second 'feelable' scratch is 3mm long in the middle of track 3 on side 2, Monkey Man. This does not jump or skip but you can hear a few ticks for a few seconds. There is a 4cm visible hair like scratch on side two that is not feelable and makes no noticeable difference to the sound and is only cosmetic. There is an even lighter visible mark across the whole of side one that is again not noticeable to the sound.

I'm very fussy about the sound of an album and play all my vinyl on a state of the art Bang and Olufsen system, so although the description above sounds bad, in reality the album plays on both sides really beautifully and 95% of the sound is excellent.
