THE ROLLING STONES - 'LET IT BLEED' 1969 original vintage vinyl 12" album with rare print error on labels. (Matrix number upside down!)
This very early UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from the initial December 1969 release and features the rare original 'unboxed' blue & silver Decca label: SKL.5025 with a printing error as shown.
Matrix numbers: XZAL-9363.P-3W & XZAL-9364-P-5W
Stamper code 1.
There are also 2 pairs of very faint letters which I believe are 2 B (or D) and B (or D) G. plus a couple more on the runouts which are illegible
The 'JT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs
The laminated front record sleeve is in excellent condition save for a couple of faint creases
The rear of the sleeve has the mono/stereo indicator hole
Original 'let it bleed' printed inner blue/white sleeve in excellent condition with minor creasing
The disc itself is in excellent condition and plays accordingly - visually it is excellent with a couple of minor faint lines from inserting and removing from sleeve - none are scratches.
Sound quality excellent.
Labels in exceptional condition, clean and bright, with some very faint spindle trails when angled to the light. As mentioned above, the labels are the very early 'Unboxed Decca' design in blue and silver and feature a rare printing error in that the matrix numbers are upside down on both sides (see photo) - someone may find this collectable like a printing error on a stamp!
