No need to upgrade this beauty. Visually and aurally stunning ! Clear channels. Blessed with the ultra rare 1st issue ,Upton Printing album sleeve in ultra clean format ! Has the ultimate sticker on front cover in MINT condition.Never seen a better example!Poster unopened until now ! Never seen the light of day ! Vinyl reflects a tremendous , mirror like sheen ,very similar to mint vinyl with unmarked surfaces ! Complete with original first issue inner sleeve !

Boxed , dark navy blue, Decca label format. Stunning labels with hardly any signs of playing activity . See pics for confirmation . Only an ultra faint spindle line trace on the deep navy blue faces and a delight to view. Nr MINT!!! Silver text unfaded and retains its metallic sheen .One of the finest examples of this rare label format and the best ever viewed .
Superb, thickly pressed vinyl with a mirror like sheen to die for . Weighed this monster slab and is a hefty 180 grams !!!!! Gives a buzz when held .VERY early matrices !

Playing surfaces are UNMARKED. Mirror like sheen . Glass like surfaces . Stunning visual !!! Nr mint condition !!!
Upton Printing 1st issue sleeve , difficult to hunt down in this stunning format, single flip back sleeve, laminated on front face. Laminate is highly reflective, almost glass-like and is the best ever viewed, with an ultra smooth finish and in clean condition. Just a minor lift of laminate, upper left side against spine .Aperture on reverse cover to denote whether stereo/mono recording . Nr mint- condition . Spine solid and square, and sticker is MINT and unfaded . NO feathering to opening edge . NO ring wear visible! Not normally found in this stunning condition. Not much handling at all, with no laminate creases visible, and on reverse, just a minor crease top left corner and apart from that, nothing else to report. Very scarce indeed !
Colour poster with this album INCLUDED and not withdrawn from the album cover until now. In near mint condition, save for a fold along one edge. Crisp and ultra clean with a thicker paper manufacture , confirming a 1st issue poster with a light glaze across its surface. A phenomenal exhibit.
Complete with the first issue ,blue/white original inner sleeve, with the track listing specified . Excellent ++ condition . A little impression where vinyl has been stored over the years .Poly lining intact. A beautiful specimen with no blacked out choir credit.
Audio
EX+ /Nr Mint :Chunky, heavyweight slab. 180 grams and a tremendous feel to the vinyl. Played on top quality equipment/one owner and hardly played at all .Severe test of audio on Midnight Rambler, where there are silent pauses at times and when music slows down but channels are superb, with very little in the way of surface disturbance. Clear channels for most of play. Won’t get better than this !
Assessed on my Project/Cambridge audio system on a high volume . The stereophonic perspective is quite sensational with an extensive layering effect and a wide range of dynamic sound. Tones are beautifully delivered!
What more can I say except this is a truly remarkable package, with a first issue sleeve , with a thickly cut, heavyweight vinyl . The vinyl surfaces reflect a staggering, mirror like sheen…. And blessed with a very decent audio , delivering each track in sensational style .These earlier stereo pressings have wider grooves than the later ones, and the thicker quality vinyl is more robust and produces a much deeper resonance which cannot be matched……
Could so easily be yours-becoming more difficult to locate in this stunning format and impossible to find better. Good luck if you decide to bid.
