"The Rolling Stones Let It Bleed Framed Lithograph + Clear Colored LP

Never before released, this highly collectible framed lithograph and LP set, including a certificate of authenticity, is offered on a first-come, first-served basis - no additional copies will be produced after the initial press run is exhausted. The hand-numbered, framed museum-quality print is derived from artwork used on The Rolling Stones record album Let It Bleed. The exclusive cover art print also includes a matching, clear vinyl LP of the album.

As the '60s drained into the '70s, the Rolling Stones went on a creative run that rivals any in popular music. Beggars Banquet (1968), Let It Bleed (1969), Sticky Fingers (1971) and Exile on Main Street (1972) routinely turn up on lists of the greatest albums of all time, and deservedly so. All done with American producer Jimmy Miller – "an incredible rhythm man," in Keith Richards' terse description – those records shake like the culture itself was shaking.

As the Stones were working on 1969's Let It Bleed, Brian Jones mysteriously died, and the band replaced him with Mick Taylor, a profoundly gifted guitarist whose lyricism and melodic flair counterbalanced Richards' insistent, irreducible rhythmic drive, adding an element to the band's sound that hadn't been there before, and opening fertile new musical directions. Like its groundbreaking predecessor, Let It Bleed was once again produced by Miller and it's also similar in that both sides of the LP open with two stone cold classics, "Gimme Shelter," with Merry Clayton's wonderful backing vocal, and "Midnight Rambler," songs that have been a part of Stones live shows for the last five decades.

In another similarity to the band's previous studio album it also features a blues cover, this time, "Love in Vain," written by the King of the Delta Blues Singers, Robert Johnson. The last track on the record is the ambitious and divergent "You Can't Always Get What You Want" featuring the London Bach Choir arranged by Jack Nitzsche and Al Kooper, of Blood Sweat & Tears on keyboards and French horn.

Features:
• Piece of history to be treasured for a lifetime by any collector, art enthusiast or fan!
• Clear vinyl LP of the album plus limited edition, framed print of the album cover art
• Exclusively authorized and licensed from ABKCO Records
• Signed in the plate by band members

Details for '12 x 5':

On offer is a brand new clear vinyl LP and superb framed lithograph set of '12 x 5' by The Rolling Stones.

This is a limited edition numbered set, numbered on the outer cardboard shipping box and there is a corresponding number inside the package too, on the lithograph. The manufacturer's details:
"The Rolling Stones 12 x 5  Framed Lithograph + Clear Colored LP

The hand-numbered, framed museum-quality print is derived from artwork used on The Rolling Stones record album 12 x 5. The exclusive cover art print also includes a matching, clear vinyl LP of the album.

Originally released in 1964, 12 x 5 is the moment when the Rolling Stones evolved from boys into men. The British veterans' sophomore record finds Mick, Keith, and Co. progressing from a blues covers band into having an identity of their own. The performances within, ranging from a kick-starting cover of Chuck Berry's "Around and Around" to the melancholic Jagger/Richards original "Congratulations," speak to the emergence of visceral versatile, and virtuosic group becoming more deeply versed in R&B acumen.

Notable for balancing youthful primal bravado with learned rhythmic pace, 12 x 5 witnesses the Stones putting an individual stamp on soul structures and harnessing their blues-rock roots to a greater extent. The band's rendition of Bobby Womack's "It's All Over Now" remains standard-bearing. Its first version of Jerry Ragovoy's "Time Is On My Side" is here, too, with organ backing. Similarly confident and distinctive, the instrumental "2120 South Michigan Avenue" pays tribute to the physical address of Chicago's Chess Records, where several tracks on the record were cut, as well as their heroes. Witness Jagger's Little Walter-like harmonica solo.

Having sold at a faster clip than the Stones' hit debut, 12 x 5 established the band's permanent foothold in contemporary music, the evidence of which resonates in this album's grooves to this very day!
