Description
Decca LK 4661 Rolling Stones "No 2" original UK mono LP
Sleeve condition
VG. See pictures. It is pretty well-preserved. Laminate is intact to the front (just a few shallow creases). The spine is intact and readable, but a touch flattened. The back has some browning, and the flipbacks each have a small knock. There is some wear at the openings.
Disc condition
Visually, it has a lot of scuffs and faint scratches. There is considerable marking around the spindle hole. However, it sounds VERY good. It plays with the minimum of noise in quiet parts. All I could glean was a series of 8 ticks between "You Can't Catch Me" and "Time Is On My Side". Otherwise, it sounds fine. There is no distortion in the inner grooves.
Other information
UK pressing, unboxed "Decca" labels. Matrix numbers are XARL 6619 2A (side !) and XARL 6620 1A (side 2).
The sleeve is the James Upton variation with flipbacks and the "Blind Man" text.
