Description
I bought this album new, on its release from the excellent "David's Record Shop" in Berkshire in 1964.
The Stones, legendary thorn-in-the-flesh of the establishment's second LP is in mono and in VERY GOOD - condition*, with ring wear, the only visual evidence of having been played. (* See ratings below.)
Andrew Loog Oldham's insensitive, and by today's standard, "non-pc" blurb on the back of the cover of this early issue was later edited IIRC. Controversy and shocking, bad publicity started the record industry's juggernaut rolling and the dough flowed in, growing to a torrent, as did being busted for drugs from time to time.
The cover is in VERY GOOD - condition, too, going by the categories copied below. The issued inner sleeve is in good condition, too, but I always provide a new modern replacement, for the next owner, anyway.
The record, as carefully handled as possible by myself, has been played a lot initially, but later, only very occasionally, then not at all for years. Some crackling at the start and end of disc, in between tracks and occasionally, during tracks. Not enough to seriously impair the listening experience, though.

I think my ratings are honest, but any return of the album in same condition will see you refunded as terms herein. I try not to include any records that may jump in my sales.
All records have been cleaned and are regarded as cleared of static here using: the German Knosti Record-cleaning kit.
Vinyl condition
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Record sleeve condition
Excellent: The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
