THE ROLLING STONES - 'No.2'
This original UK 1st MONO pressing of their second album dates from initial January 1965 release and is on the unboxed red Decca label: LK 4661
Matrix numbers: XARL-6619-1A & XARL-6620-2A
Stamper codes: 1/BM & 3,B/H
Disc weight: 147g
Housed in a front laminated, 'James Upton' printed mono cover with the uncensored text on the rear panel which was pasted over on later copies and reads:
.."If you don't have any bread, see that blind man knock him on the head, steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot, if you out in the boot,god, another one sold!"....
Complete with its original polythene lined inner-sleeve.

A fine clean & unworn set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole. As you can see in the 4th image right, the some of the main header part of the side 2 label is slightly misaligned.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surface are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine and apart from two light, non-feelable fingernail scuffs on the the first track of side 2, are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine and a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This well looked after copy plays extremely well and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or major faults. My single careful play-check at volume picked up a touch of light background crackle which I feel does not spoil the enjoyment of this well-recorded album. There is a single click on 'I Can't Be Satisfied' due to a small bump in the vinyl itself, but it is otherwise free from any other audible distractions of any kind.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & fully intact example with some noticeable light wrinkles to the glossy front laminate, but no significant wear or damage to any corner or either opening edge. The rear panel is clean and unworn with no marks, writing or missing paper. Both seams and the spine are all smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
General storage/age wear but no writing, tears or seams splits.
