Description

The Rolling Stones "Out Of Our Heads" original USA 33 1/3 rpm Long-playing (LP) phonograph record, London Records LL.3429, with album cover. This is a VERY rare MONO recording, with "London" and "ffrr" (full frequency range recording) in a box at the top. The monaural record has maroon labels, with silver London logo, and silver print text. Both labels are clean, with no writing on either side. The Rolling Stones featured Mick Jagger (lead vocals), Brian Jones (lead guitar), Keith Richards (rhythm guitar), Bill Wyman (bass guitar), and Charlie Watts (drums). "Out Of Our Heads" was released in the United States, in 1965. The songs on the record are (Side One) "Mercy Mercy", "Hitch Hike", "The Last Time", "That's How Strong My Love Is", "Good Times", "I'm All Right", (Side Two) "Satisfaction", "Cry To Me", "The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man", "Play With Fire", "The Spider And The Fly", and "One More Try". "Mercy Mercy" was written by Don Covay and Ronald Miller. "Hitch Hike" was written by Marvin Gaye, Mickey Stevenson, and Clarence Paul. "That's How Strong My Love Is" was written by Roosevelt Jamison. "Good Times" was written by Sam Cooke. "I'm All Right", "The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man", and "Play With Fire" were written by Nanker Phelge (a pseudonym for Mick Jagger and Keith Richards). "Cry To Me" was written by Bert Russell. All other songs were written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The record was produced by Andrew Loog Oldham. The phonograph record is in excellent plus condition. The record comes in a white paper sleeve. The album cover is in very good to excellent condition. There is some cover wear present. The record, sleeve and album cover come in a clear protective sleeve. The 2001 "Goldmine Record Album Price Guide" lists a monaural copy of "Out Of Our Heads" (with "London" and "ffrr" in a box at the top) at $200.00. That is a five-year-old price.
