ROLLING STONES - 'OUT OF OUR HEADS'
This unusual UK 1st pressing is a rare example of an LP pressed in the UK and then exported for sale in the U.S.
By 1967, UK-pressed LPs were starting to appear in U.S. stores as imports. In the case of this album, an unusual step was taken to avoid any copyright infringement with U.S. Decca (which was not connected to the UK company of the same name), by covering up all Decca logos on the disc and cover, with the appropriate colour tape.
This NEAR MINT example is a 1965 UK 1st mono pressing on the deep-groove red Decca label: LK.4733
As you can see, the Decca name on both labels has been carefully covered up with red tape.

Stamper codes: 1/UK & 1/BG
A 'KT' purchase-tax code is stamped into each run-out.
Vinyl weight: 137g
Housed in an front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover.
The Decca logos front & rear covered with black tape.
This example still retains its original shrinkwrapping and comes with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A vivid & vibrant set bearing just a handful of small spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which appear totally 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks beneath halogen light. You will not find a better copy.
Sound Quality: MINT
This barely played example sounds flawless and wonderful throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A strong and clean example which beneath the shrink retains retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate bearing just three faint 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge.
There is a small stain in the lower left corner of the rear panel but apart from that, there is little else to fault.
Both seams and the fully worded spine are all unstressed & unsplit.
