On offer here is the VERY rare LP by The Rolling Stones called 'Out Of Our Heads'. It is seriously HARD TO FIND an ORIGINAL first press of this classic LP in such amazing condition as this one is! This is the original 1965 mono UK 1st pressing on the DECCA label (with 'unboxed' decca logo on label), and 1st press front laminated Clout & Baker Ltd sleeve.
Condition
The record grades visually as excellent condition and has no scratches, no warping and no flaws whatsoever apart from one or two VERY LIGHT 'paper scuffs' visible under a strong lamp (these are very tiny surface hairline marks that come about from taking the record out of the sleeve, but do not affect play) The record plays as well as it looks, with no sticking, no pops and no hiss. There is occassionally some very minor crackle in between tracks but the music remains loud and crystal clear throughout. The sound quality is SUPERB (especially at volume!) with no distortion and no groovewear either.
The record labels are also in excellent condition (see photos) with no writing, no wear and only a few moderate spindle marks. It is clear that this record has been well looked after.
The original inner sleeve is in excellent minus condition. It has slight creasing to the corners and VERY LIGHT discolouration bottom (see photos)
The sleeve is also in excellent condition. The laminated front is lovely and clean with a few VERY LIGHT laminate creases (barely visible) The unlaminated back has slight discolouration to the top and bottom on the white strips. The tapered spine is really straight, and the writing is still perfectly clear and bold. The top and bottom edges are similarly impressive with no shelfwear they remain beautifully straight. The opening edge is VERY LIGHTLY worn in comparison to the other edges (this usually happens when the record is being taken in and out of the sleeve) but this is in no way feathered or torn, just lightly worn.
