The Rolling Stones
Out of our Heads
US track listing completely different sleeve which was quickly withdrawn. IMPOSSIBLE to locate and would make a tremendous asset to any collection. HIGHLY sought after and MEGA RARE!!!
Export LP
LK 4725 Matrix 3A/3A in MONO 1st PRESSED DECCA label format!!
Early stampers at 3 0 clock 1 G/1 A Mega RARE!
Very scarce as soon deleted and mega rare pressing as not many issued. Commands huge prices in the collectors world.
1965 original vintage release.
Audio
At least an excellent . Each note delivered through remarkably clear channels. Primarily very clear channels . Only blip on sound is a few faint ticks at start of side 1, hardly noticeable and does little to affect music presentation .Very rare to find in this condition as these mono recordings were played and played, used and abused into submission, resulting in massive groove wear and sound distortion. This has neither and this audio offers a tremendous depth of sound and tones are conveyed with a razor sharp edge and a precise definition. Tracks are very different from the UK release and presents Satisfaction, Play with Fire, The Last Time and many more magnificent Stones’ classics, all heard in near perfect style!
Sleeve
US track listing, made for Export. Completely different cover from UK sleeve, some creasing, laminate peel on lower corner. Moderate fading on front face producing a foxing effect. Previous owner’s name on top right of reverse . Minor tear opening edge.R Stace printed. Good condition.
Vinyl
Non sounding faint hairline, long extending across 5 tracks plus a few fainter and shorter surface marks which disappear beneath a mirror like sheen . Remarkable visual and a pleasure to view . At least VG+/Ex- visual . Thick, heavyweight giant and gives a buzz when held.
Labels
Open red mono Decca labels with the wide ridged effect. Moderate spider lines visible. Very good condition See pics.
A very hard to locate example of the 1965 US version sleeve, showing different track listing and layout format . Only a very few made and almost impossible to find now, especially with an excellent aural delivery. Would be a fantastic addition to any collection .
