Out Of Our Heads is The Rolling Stones' third UK album and their fourth in the US. It was released in 1965 through their original distributors (Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US), but with significant differences in both territories.
Initially issued in July 1965 in America (featuring an alternate shot from the same photo session that graced the cover of 12 X 5 and The Rolling Stones No. 2), Out of Our Heads was a mish-mash of studio recordings over a six month period, including recent hit single "The Last Time" and current worldwide smash "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" as well as a sampling from the UK-only live EP got LIVE if you want it!. Riding the wave of "Satisfaction"'s success, Out of Our Heads became The Rolling Stones' first US #1 album, eventually going platinum. In 2002, this US edition was listed as number 114 on the List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Very rare and mega scarce pressing as not many issued. Commands huge prices in the collectors world.

Audio
At least an excellent. Each note delivered through remarkably clear channels. Hardly a crackle to be heard. Very rare to find in this condition as these mono recordings were played and played, used and abused into submission, resulting in massive groove wear and sound distortion. This has neither and this audio offers a tremendous depth of sound and tones are conveyed with a razor sharp edge and a precise definition. Tracks are very different from the UK release and presents Satisfaction, Play with Fire, The Last Time and many more magnificent Stones’ classics, all heard in near perfect style!
Sleeve
US track listing, made for Export.Taped edges,some creasing, slight laminate lift. No rips/tears. V Good.
Vinyl
Non sounding hairlines, sleeve marks but no scratches . Awesome sheen and is at least VG+/Ex- visual. Thick, heavyweight giant and gives a buzz when held.
Labels
Open red mono Decca labels with the wide ridged effect. One side is slightly torn in one area, otherwise nothing to fault. See pics.
A very hard to locate example of the 1965 US version sleeve showing different track listing and layout format. Only a very few made and almost impossible to find now especially with an excellent aural delivery. Would be a fantastic addition to any collection.
