1967 UK 1st MONO PRESSING LP


This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones UK 1st pressings which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to view the entire collection.


This extremely well-preserved copy is a 1967 UK 1st MONO pressing on the 'deep-grooved' unboxed blue & silver Decca label: TXL 103

Housed in a lavish outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed gatefold cover with the '3-D' panel attached to the front leaf.

Complete with its original red & white design inner-sleeve.


Matrices: ARL-8126-T2-3K & ARL-8127-T2-3K

Stamper codes: 1/B & 1/B

'KT' purchase tax codes are present in both run-outs.

A pristine pair with just two faint spindle trails around the side 2 center hole, but no marks or wear whatsoever on label 1.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Totally immaculate and 'as new' playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shines and are unmarked in close inspection in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than sparkling rainbow gloss and a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal hairlines - but I really struggle to find even them. To top it off, both sides lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT +

Clearly, this copy has not been played more than once or twice and every song sounded totally unworn during my single careful play-check at volume. In fact the only audible blemish on the entire album are three faint ticks at the end of '2,000 Man'. Apart from that however, there are no further traces of any audible wear on or between any of these amazing tracks.

Cover

EXCELLENT

An extremely strong and clean example with a bright & unworn 3-D panel with no adhesive bleed-through around its edges. The front leaf itself is clean with just a touch of discolouration towards the upper right corner & a small area of missing paper mid-way along the upper edge. There is also a touch of shelfwear to the rear lower edge but absolutely no other wear or damage elsewhere. The inside of the gatefold is clean & unmarked and still retains all its vibrant colours. The rear panel is immaculate with a clean & high-gloss laminate which bears no wrinkles or scratching at all. Both seams are fully intact and unstressed and the spine fully laminated, worded and totally unworn.

Clean & flat with just a few inevitable storage bends to the corners but no writing, splits or tears anywhere.
