Description
The Rolling Stones
Sticky Fingers
Here we have a simply gorgegeous copy of an increasingly rare album and COMPLETE too!!
The belt is perfectly intact and the zipper still works-as it should do!
A COLLECTORS PIECE:
Catalogue number: COC 59100
Matrices:
COC 59100-A4
COC 59100-B3
It has the inscription of
"T.M.L. ROLLING STONES RECORDS"
etched into the side 1 & 2 run-offs of the vinyl....1st press.
Mothers/Stampers:
Side 1: A 4
Side 2: C 1
(Very Early)
The condition:
Vinyl: VG+. Side one does have some needle marks in one area, but having just played over them, I only found just a small amount of background noise, with light pops and crackles, NO SKIPS or JUMPS. More noticable during the quiet parts of Wild Horses. Side two only has a couple of very faint marks. Without these marks she's definately be an EX+.
**Sounds gorgeously raw**
Sleeve: EX++/Nmint-. A Superb copy...One of the best I have ever seen!!! The belt buckle is in superb condition, as is the zip (I have just opened and closed it)...both working as they were intended to do, by Andy Warhol. All superbly strong, just very minimal amount of wear to the corners. Strong spine. One downside is a faint and small 'P.J.S' in the top right corner-see if you can spot it on the image-it is that small and faint. To the back is the normal indentation of the zip from another record of the first press, stacked next to eachother in the record shop back in 1971. Really, REALLY nice copy!
Labels: VG. Bright yellow labels. Unfortunatley there are the initials of 'PJS' to the side 1 label, as well as some light splashes of something (light brown in colour). I really am being incredibly critical here.
Inner: NMint! Original inner with 5 points of "Care Of This record"
Die-cut corners and plastic lined.
Picture/Credits Inner: VG+. Firstly unusual to get hold of one of these! No writing and lovely and bright. It has some water staining to the top left corner-but only visible to the back white card-not so visible to the picture side. There are some indentations, from pressing against the zip and that's it-LOVELY!
All in All a very nice copy of a rare album-especially the delicate cover.
