Description: EXCELLENT copy of The Rolling Stone Sticky Fingers original first press STEREO 12” vinyl LP on Yellow/black labels EX/EX. Matrixes: COC 59100 A4/ COC 59100 B4 This is a First UK pressing and does not have 'A Promotone N.V. Record' on label (Promotone N.V. Record company was not set up until after April 1971, likely around September 1971 [Discogs]). The sleeve has a fully functioning small metal zip and includes album insert in mint condition.

In short this is a superb copy and a really RARE find in this condition. SLEEVE:  EX This sleeve is in a near mint condition including spine, corners and edges, the zip is in excellent condition and there is only some creasing on the top edge of the front cover and a small sticker mark (barely noticeable) on the back cover (see photos). It is fantastic to see a first press in such good condition! This cover looks to have been stored in a plastic sleeve and has retained its original shine and colour.  The original album insert is also included which is in mint condition. Overall this is a fantastically well looked after copy and a brilliant find! VINYL:    EX Visually this is a very clean copy with only a few very light surface scratches. Side 1- Test plays beautifully with all of the way through with minimal background noise and no pops or crackling. Side 2 – ‘Bitch’ has a small scuff on the record producing rhythmic background crackles (for the first 2m50). This is most noticeable for the first 1m55 then becomes far less noticeable until 2m50 when it completely stops and crystal clear audio begins. **Please note that at no point does this crackle dominate the track**, ‘I Got The Blues’ plays great, ‘Sister Morphine’ contains one crackle (just before ‘The scream of the ambulance is sounding in my ears’) ‘Dead Flowers’ contains one crackle (during ‘Well when you’re sitting back in your rose pink Cadillac’), Moonlight Mile has minimal background noise and plays through perfectly. Overall this is a great playing copy.

We mail everything using the BEST QUALITY (music industry standard) packaging materials - sturdy cardboard record mailers with two added cardboard stiffeners for 12" LP's and 7" singles. We always remove the vinyl from the album cover and the original/ collectable inner sleeves (where present) to prevent damage to these during transit. During this time the record will be protected in a plastic anti static inner sleeve which doubles up as an album cover once it has arrived!
We mail everything using the eBay Shutl - 3-5 day TRACKED courier delivery service (via My Hermes) which includes standard compensation of up to £25.  *However if you wish to purchase extra insurance to cover the full cost of a listing please contact us for a quote*

GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
