Description
Rare and complete 1971 GATEFOLD release of Sticky Fingers - COC 59100 - A4 B3
According to Discogs: 'A pressing error allowed a few copies of the iconic Sticky Fingers to leave the factory with a gatefold sleeve instead of the top opening sleeve.'
Vinyl (visual): EX
Black and shiny with no obvious marks, except under a certain light and these are faint and entirely superficial. It looks lovely.
Vinyl (aural): NEAR MINT
It plays perfectly all the way through on both sides. From beginning to end the sound is full-bodied and clear. This record plays AS NEW - no scratches, no distortion, and no surface noise, even during the quiet parts. There is only the very occasional light static. That's it.
Labels: EX+
Show no signs of play, no spindle marks visible.
Outer Sleeve: VG+
I have tried to provide revealing photos - they are your best guide.
The working zip is in fantastic condition, and so is the buckle above the zip which is usually found badly creased or damaged. The front and back surfaces do show some wear, and there is a name top left of the back side. The spine is perfectly intact and legible, but there is some wear at the top and bottom ends.
The inside is in really nice condition. The only issue is that the top opening was glued shut by mistake during manufacture (this is a top opening sleeve), so the card has had to be pried apart to allow the record and insert to be stored properly. This is hardly visible in normal circumstances - see photo.
Inner Sleeve: VG+
This is the original Sticky Fingers inner sleeve with blue lettering and slightly rounded corners. In very good condition, the flaps are intact, no tears or seam splits, just general age-related yellowing.
Insert: EX
In excellent condition, no stains, just some wear to a couple of corners.
UK buyers only, please.

Will be sent in a proper record mailer Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.
