Description

‘Sticky Fingers’,  the iconic Rolling Stones  original 1971  UK record on 12” vinyl, complete with the original  metal zipper cover designed by the American Pop Artist Andy Warhol.

I’ve decided to sort out my music collection and I bought this record over 40 years ago (doesn’t time fly?).

I’m not a record collector as such but I would describe the vinyl as being in excellent condition.  I know for a fact that it’s not been played more than about 10  times in the last 30 years.

The sleeve is in very good condition.  There is a small indentation on the sleeve close to the bottom of the zip, which can be seen on the photograph – it may have been caused by the pull part of the zipper. There is also a small crease on the waistband. The metal zipper is in full working order, and there is a plain inner sleeve.

I’ve done a little reading about ‘Sticky Fingers’ on the internet and other people have described similar records as being one of the  first pressings. However,  not being a collector myself  I can’t honestly say, but for those of you in the know the matrix numbers on the record are:  side1 = COC 59100-A4   side2 = COC 59100-B4

It also has  "ROLLING STONES RECORDS" etched into the vinyl on both sides around the centre labels.
