Label: Rolling Stones Records - COC 59100 - A4 / B4 - T.M.L. hand etched (first pressing, one of the first matrix numbers)

The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers A4 / B4 1st Press UK Vinyl Record COC 59100. Released on 23rd April 1971, serious collectors will know this is one of the very earliest pressings A4 / B4, pressed before the album was released from first generation laquers. Only the very first pressings of this album have T.M.L. ROLLING STONES RECORDS hand-etched in the runout grooves (The Mastering Lab). Later pressings were not pressed there & are known to suffer from a less dynamic sound. It does NOT have the inscription "A Promotone N.V. RECORD" that later versions included. The zipper is the small square type (the later iteration was the pan zipper).
Condition:
Sleeve: VG(-). Noticeable signs that it was well played & handled by the previous owner. Corners / edges may include some aesthetic wear such as feathering, discolouration & small creases as evident on the photographs.
Original insert: VG. Crisp with minor discolouration as evident on the photographs.
Vinyl Side One: VG(-). Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner, but still retaining some lustre. Visible light surface scuffs, scratches & perhaps some signs of groove wear present with some surface noise evident upon playback, more obviously so during quieter passages.
Vinyl Side Two: VG(-). Noticeable signs that it was handled & well played by the previous owner, but still retaining some lustre. Visible light surface scuffs, scratches & perhaps some signs of groove wear present with some surface noise evident upon playback, more obviously so during quieter passages.
