The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers

(Rolling Stones Records COC 59100 UK LP 1971)

 

This is the very rare UK original LP pressing with a gatefold sleeve. This LP is a bit of an anomaly. No-one seems to be really sure how many were pressed, or why this gatefold copy was even pressed.

The gatefold sleeve has a thin card front panel which has a zip on the front. The record is pressed on thick vinyl and has A4/ B4 matrix stampers. It comes with its original plain paper inner sleeve - which is in very nice condition.

 

Gatefold Sleeve: There is a small 1 cm by 2 cm missing piece of the sleeve, just above the belt buckle. A name has been written on the rear also. There is some mild rubbing wear & ringwear. VG condition.

Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and about 3-4 hairline marks. There are some mild pressing marks too. Good++ condition. The labels are clean but show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+. There is light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
