Description

An original 1st press of TATOO on USA RS label by SPECIALITY RECORDS IN USA. 'Masterdisk'. Etchings 'SP' & 'RL'. A Robert Ludwig cut. Stamped EST. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover [heavy card] which is one of the 1st copies and would have been handed to record execs. Promo gold stamp info at the top of the rear. NO BAR CODE. Also included is the original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Superb audio with very little background at all. What's not to like? It's a clean player throughout. Lots of lowkey delicate moments. I couldn't detect more that a few brief crackles in one isolated spot per side. Highly recommended. Really impressive - Rob knew what he was doing!
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has been cared for down the years. Lovely shiny front and rear without much sign of surface wear, and just one crease. Slight signs of edge wear, but nothing noticeable. Slightest bump to bottom corners. Firm openings. The spine is 95% intact with minimal wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex)  No issues. No splits. Sweet!
