mother number is 1

stamper letter is c

Tax code is KT which indicates a press of before 1968

The green unboxed decca label is grooved and is design no.9 version 3 (see the pictures)

The labels are in NM condition with just the very slightest amount of spindle wear noted.

The gatefold sleeve has the thick card 3d picture on the front, the background colour is of the dark blue smoke design as opposed to lighter blue later versions

The bottom right corner has the STEREO TXS 103 cat no present

The sleeve is in Ex+ condition if not near mint, there is the smallest amount of wear to each of the corners and no visible ring wear.

The Vinyl looks to be in MINT condition.

Listen grade is Near Mint

The vinyl was very carefully tracked on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a LINN Basik stylus and cartridge on the lightest possible setting and listened to on very high volume through a 'Yamaha AX390 Natural sound Stereo Amplifier' with the treble turned up full and i was, frankly, blown away !!

On side 1 from the very start there did not seem to be any crackle pops or other noises, no distortion or any other noises to detract from the quite fantastic, bright and dynamic recorded sound.

Only at the very start of the track 4 where there is sounds of snoring, did i suspect any background noise at all and this was where i turned up the volume even more and could just hear the slightest crackle.

Side 2 was a similar ear opening experience, it was loud and vibrant where it should be and quiet in the right places.Track 3 had a very low sounding difficult to hear crackle in the quiet bits but it was difficult to detect at the high volume.

Track 4 was i think the real test area and so turned up the volume to very high, i'm sure the neighbours were enjoying it !!

Only at high volume did i detect a few very  low pops and some very quiet crackle to start with and very light crackling through the orchestral outtro.

I have never heard this album before so this was a real treat for me and i'm sure the neighbours enjoyed it as much!

Overall this early press album is in TOP condition with TOP audio, and i am pretty sure you wont find another copy this good too quickly !!
