THE ROLLING STONES - 'THE ROLLING STONES'
This superb UK 1st pressing of their debut 4-track EP dates from initial January 1964 release on the unboxed Decca label: DFE 8560
This EP was released both to capitalize on "I Wanna Be Your Man" and to test the commercial appeal of the band before Decca would commit to letting them record an album.
Matrix numbers: EFF 2663-1K & EFF 2664-1K
Stamper codes: 1/BB & 1/BB
Housed within its original front laminated, bi-flipback, 'West Brothers' printed picture cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A superb set with just a few faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces with no noticeable marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a few light hairlines and wispy removal marks but no significant blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy has clearly been barely played and the sound is clean and clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear or crackle anywhere. Apart from some low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this keeper copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & unyellowed example with a pristine, unscratched high-gloss front laminate, where the only significant sign of wear is some light storage bending to the right corners. All corners and both opening edges are unworn and the real panel is pristine white & unblemished.
