Description
Rolling Stones,Sticky Fingers,LP, Catalogue Number: (COC 59100), Cover Details: Zip Sleeve with a Plain inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.
Any Other Details: Original early pressing, on the Rolling Stones Record Label. Matrix numbers COC 59100 A4 also has T.M.L. Rolling Stones Records hand etched into the runout & COC 59100 B4 with T.M.L. Rolling Stones Records hand etched into the runout. The sleeve is unusual in that it has a different zip to most sleeves. This early sleeve has a pinched spine at both ends and the bottom is open. The back has only the Rolling Stones logo, no other text. The bronze coloured zip is in working order and both sides bear the word clix. Clix is a British zip manufacturer which is known to be making zips during the 1960's and 1970's. They seem to have been mainly used by the M.o.D. and on leather goods such as jackets and handbags. The belt buckle has only minor creasing. The bottom left corner has some brown spots, a few of which carry on to the back just above the logo. There are the usual marks on the back from the zip of the sleeve which would have been in front of it in the shop, these are less than on most sleeves, there are no large creases or seam splits. Complete with its original picture insert which is in very good condition with a crease to the top right corner, there are no stains or tears. This record has been listened to and on our record player side one track two has a small feelable mark which plays with very light background crackles for about half the track and there were two soft pops on side two track three, the rest of the record played excellently
