Description
Rolling Thunder, by Micky Hart, 1972 LP album
This is an excellent first pressing vintage copy of this album, Warner Bros. BS-2635, from 1972, and it includes the original shrink wrap and 2 paper inserts with song and biographical info. This album was made with numerous luminaries of the rock scene, like Jerry Garcia, Stephen Stills, John Cippolina, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, and many more. The dead wax inscription on the disc shows BS 2635 40222-1. I bought this record in New York City, when it first came out. As I did with all my records at that time, I copied the music to tape, which means the record has only been played a couple of times. The cover is in excellent shape, protected by the original shrink wrap. The vinyl is also excellent, with few, if any, defects, basically new. Please see the pictures above for details of the cover and the records, etc..
I've included a picture of an Empire 598 turntable, which is the only turntable model this record was ever played on, with the best Stanton cartridge available at the time.
Note: I normally ship the next working day after your purchase payment. If you want to buy more items that I have listed, and want to save on shipping, don't pay right away. You can wait up to 10 days to purchase additional auction items. After you have made your purchases, send me a message that you are done, and I will provide an Ebay invoice with the shipping charges reduced appropriately.
I am in the process of listing many items from my collection of science fiction books, Sci Fi pulp magazines (Amazing, Startling Stories, Fantastic Stories, Planet Stories and many others), plus classic vinyl and other collectibles. Please check back!
