For sale - Exile on Main Street released in 1972 on the Rolling Stones Label
This is an extremely rare copy with the 12 postcards all intact and pristine condition
matrix numbers end in A2 B1 C1 D2 each side has hand wirtten in the groove - rolling stones records
Sleeve: Very First pressing box like gatefold sleeve made of THICK paper.
Inner Sleeves : This the original first pressing comes with the hard paper inner sleeves square corner and not the thick packer round corner of later issues.
Inner "Inner" Sleeves: Very first copies comes with the die cut white paper inner protective sleeve, excluded from later copies. Patent no 1.125.555
Postcards: 12 Postcards original thick paper! Comes in one set of joined postcards.
The vinyl is in ex+++ to near mint condition - there is very little sign of these records being played. There are possibly 2 marks on the whole records and the condition is glossy and pristine to look at.
The cover has very light wear to top and bottom edges. This is minor and expected with age. there is some rubbing to bottom and top edge of spine, with some light wear to spine however this has little effect on the cover. The back and front and inside are clean and extremely presentable
