Comments: Mega rare white label promo copy of this folk rock masterpiece! This is the much sought after LP with the original version of "It Ain't Easy" which was covered by David Bowie on his classic Ziggy Stardust ans the Spiders from Mars LP in 1972. Also covered by Three Dog Night.. This was originally from a college radio station copy. The vinyl is VERY clean!! Put under a bright light I can only see one small mark that goes a few seconds into side two...which does not cause any playback issues. There is also one sleeve swipe on track 3 on side one...again no issues! Just want to cover my bases here. The labels are excellent, with very faint signs of spindle wear. The cover is also promo stamped in top/right corner. There is ring wear to both front and back. The wear is very moderate and does not distract. There is also some creasing to bottom left corner. and some along the spine. The spine and seams are intact with moderate wear from storage throughout the years. Don't miss out on this one!! I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
